Alexander T. Robinson, CPL
Vice President – Operations & Business Development
Alex began his career in the energy space in 2006, when he began work as an engineering tech with New Dominion, LLC in Tulsa, OK. Shortly thereafter, he enrolled at the University of Tulsa as a member of the inaugural class of its Energy Management program. While working at New Dominion as the firm’s Regulatory Analyst, he completed his BSBA – Energy Management in December of 2010, at which time he accepted a landman role at Chesapeake Energy, LLC. Chesapeake allowed him to gain experience in a number of basins across the L48, including the Utica, Arkoma/Anadarko, and Eagle Ford.
After three years at Chesapeake, Alex found his way back to his native Tulsa and began working on the brokerage side of land. With a passion for intricate, detailed title, Alex joined Anchor in 2018 and since that time, he has navigated industry downtowns, local company exoduses, and commodity crashes, all while ensuring that Anchor has continued to provide and add value to its clients.
A former board member of the Tulsa Association of Petroleum Landmen (2020-2024), Alex spends his free time being the fourth-wheel to his wife Kellie and their dogs Arya and Doug Judy, fruitlessly rooting for the Golden Hurricane, and spending 11/12 months of the year preparing for Halloween. An early casualty of Netflix’s Drive to Survive series, Alex is now an avid Formula 1 fan, and on race weekends can be found annoying literally anyone within earshot about McLaren’s performance. He loves audiobooks more than music in his old age, yet freely admits that the music he DOES listen to is objectively bad.
